Consultations

Anne likes to have an initial telephone chat with you to hear about your health concerns and to ensure that she can help you. Prior to coming for your first consultation, Anne will send you a questionnaire which she will ask you to complete and return before your first meeting. Depending on what you have told her, she may give you some further rating scales for you to complete after your first consultation. All of this information will ensure that the she knows important fundamental information about you which will allow both of you to make the best use of the consultation time.

Each session lasts an hour, giving you plenty of time to explain your health concerns and for Anne to take a comprehensive history so that she can get a clear understanding of the nutritional causes of your health problems. She will encourage you to ask questions about your health and your treatment plan and she will explain to you the nutritional reasons as to why you have the health problems you have.

Following your consultation(s), you will receive a detailed dietary programme, and perhaps some supplements will be recommended if these are required. Although it will have been explained to you during your consultation, Anne will send you written notes about her interpretation of your nutritional health problems.

Depending on your health concerns, Anne will recommend a follow-up appointment between two to three weeks after the initial consultation. Your follow-up appointment will last between 45 - 60 minutes, depending on your specific needs. At this appointment, further assessment will be undertaken and your progress reviewed. If necessary, your nutritional programme streamlined for maximum results.
